Daniel Czajkowski, Anastasia Barr crowned Homecoming King and Queen

b2ap3_thumbnail_king--queen-resized.jpgThe Waynesburg University student body crowned its 2013 Homecoming King and Queen Saturday, Oct. 5, at a ceremony held during halftime of the Homecoming football game. Daniel Czajkowski and Anastasia Barr were named king and queen, respectively.

Czajkowski, a senior criminal justice administration major from Fredrick, Md., (Spencerville Adventist Academy), is the son of Vincent and Diana Czajkowski. He is a scholar within the Stover Center for Constitutional Studies and Moral Leadership at Waynesburg University; the president of Waynesburg University Student Senate; a member of the University’s Criminal Justice Club; a member of campus Peer Education; and a member of the University’s International Justice Mission.

Following graduation, Czajkowski plans to pursue a career in federal law enforcement or as a legislative staffer on Capitol Hill.

Barr, a senior communication (sports broadcasting/sports information) major from Avella, Pa., (Avella Area Junior-Senior High School), is the daughter of Jack and Michelle Barr. She is the social media director for WCYJ-FM; the surviorship chair of the Waynesburg University Colleges Against Cancer chapter; a University cheerleader; and a member of WCTV production.

After graduation, Barr hopes to work within the communications field as a sports reporter/producer for a major new station.
