Waynesburg University will host fall visitation days for transfer students, high school students and their families Monday, Oct. 14, and Saturday, Nov. 2.

“Visitation Days are important for any prospective student to participate in, as it is a great way to experience what Waynesburg University is like. A visit to campus is one the most vital steps a student can make to help assist them in their college search process,” said Jessica Sumpter, director of admissions at the University.

Registration in the Stover Student Center begins at 8:30 a.m. on both Monday, Oct.14, and Saturday, Nov. 2. After check-in, students have the opportunity to take a campus tour, interact with current students and meet with faculty members in their major of interest. Students and families can also learn more about admissions and financial aid. Lunch will be provided on campus in the Benedum Dining Hall.

Attending visitation days allows interested students to see the mission and values of Waynesburg University firsthand. As the University stands firm in its values of faith, learning and service, students are pushed to rise to the challenge of becoming leaders, stewards and scholars.

Approximately 2,400 students are currently enrolled in Waynesburg University’s doctoral, graduate and undergraduate programs. More than 70 academic concentrations are offered at the University, which maintains its status as one of the least expensive private institutions in Pennsylvania.

In addition to rigorous academics, service is at the forefront of a Waynesburg University education. Students annually contribute more than 50,000 hours of service, working with more than 50 local, regional, domestic and international partners. University students have the opportunity to choose from approximately 15 annual domestic and international service mission trips offered during fall, winter and spring breaks.
