ATP 207 - Emergency Response in Athletics
This course entails the study of advanced first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation to prepare one to respond to emergency situations. Emphasis will be directed toward prevention, first aid treatment, emergency care, and transportation of the sick and injured in an athletic environment. Students receive American Red Cross Certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Community First Aid upon successful completion of ARC standards. Two hours of lecture and one two-hour laboratory period each week. Prerequisites: BIO 109 and 207. Does not count as a General Education Requirement in science. An additional fee will
