ATP 306 - Therapeutic Modalities
This course entails the study of pain management techniques and mediation of theory and practice of therapeutic modalities. Includes discussion of superficial heat, cold, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, ultrasound, compression, traction, and massage. Three hours of lecture and one two-hour laboratory period each week. Prerequisites: Official acceptance into the A.T.A.P.; or BIO 105, 109, 207, 216, and permission of the program director. Does not count as a General Education Requirement in science. Fall
