BIO 121 - Prinicples of Biology I
An introductory course presenting basic principles of modern biology. Topics include chemistry of life, cells, energetics, reproduction, heredity, and evolution. Fall. BIO 122 is a course continuing the study of living organisms and processes. Topics include biology of simple organisms, diversity or form and function in plants and animals, regulation and growth, ecology, populations. Three one-hour lectures and one three-hour lab each week. Spring. BIO 121 is a prerequisite for BIO 122. Biology 121 and 122 are required of all Biology majors
