Philosophy Minor
Why minor in philosophy at Waynesburg College? Philosophy grapples with some of the most profound questions of life: "Is life meaningful or meaningless? Is there a God and if so, what is this God like? What is the human soul? What is human nature like? Why live justly in an unjust world? Is there any cause or belief worth dying for?" Philosophy is an excellent course of study for any student since it teaches the general skills of critical thinking, reading and careful writing, all indispensable abilities in any profession. In addition, philosophy is a very helpful minor for those heading to law school or graduate studies in English, history, human services, political science, psychology, sociology, and the professional ministry.
