Psychology Minor
Why should a Waynesburg College student complete a minor in psychology? Nurses, athletic trainers, and pre-med students will gain a better understanding of why patients with serious illnesses may become depressed and how those illnesses might affect family relationships. Business students will have a more in-depth understanding of the behavior of their clients. Communication majors will become more aware of the needs of their audiences and so be more effective communicators. Education students will learn more about why their future students may or may not be motivated to achieve academically. Criminal justice professionals will expand their understanding of why juvenile offenders should be treated in a different manner than adult offenders. Studio artists and writers will better explore the depth of the human condition to create more emotionally evocative art.
