Waynesburg University Athletic Training Services

Waynesburg University Athletic Training is proud of its ability to provide high quality health care to 400 athletes in 18 varsity sports. The Athletic Training Staff is committed to integrating the mission of the University faith, learning, and service into medical practice. Waynesburg University strives to provide injury prevention and risk management, injury recognition, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation on a daily basis with the athletes well-being at the forefront of our mission. Also we provide the athletic population with education and counseling services in conjunction with the health center and counseling centers on campus.

The certified athletic training staff consists of our team physician, three full time Certified Athletic Trainers, and three part-time graduate assistant, all who work together to provide on site medical coverage for practice, games and clinical rehabiliation. All of our certified athletic trainers are certified by the Board of Certification (BOC), certified within the state of Pennsylvania by the Board of Medicine and hold current CPR/AED certificiations.
