Program Description

Individuals with a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, who currently hold USA RN licensure, may be eligible to enroll in this program to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. The program is designed to allow second-degree students to complete degree requirements in 12-16 months, completing 30-33 credits, depending on transfer credits related to Applied Statistics and Ethics.

Admission to Department of Nursing

Applicants who wish to enroll in this program must submit formal application for admission to the University and must fulfill all stated admission requirements. The applicant must submit the following to the Director of Enrollment and Professional Development for the GAPS Nursing Programs:

  • Official transcript indicating a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0)
  • Current USA RN license
  • Graduation from a state-approved nursing program as evidenced by all official transcripts
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Professional resume
  • Two letters of recommendation
