Salutations from Southwest PA!

What a wonderful time in your life this is! This is when you finally get to choose what you’ll be when you grow up—or maybe it’s your chance to fulfill what you’ve been dreaming about your whole life. I am very excited that you are considering Waynesburg University as part of your future. If you are anything like me, you are feeling a little bit anxious but mostly excited about all of the decisions. When I made my decision, I wanted a school that was academically challenging, relatively close to home, and a place where I could grow in my faith. Whatever your wish list is for selecting a college, know that there a lot of people by your side ready to help and support you. A wise man once told me, “You can choose to be happy or you can choose to not be happy,” and I strive every day to take that advice. It led me to four life-changing years at Waynesburg, and I hope they are words that resonate with you. So, here is my advice to you: Trust God, follow your heart, take a deep breath, and enjoy the ride!

I fell in love with Waynesburg for its warmth and sense of community. It is a sense that grew more each day that I was here, and it continues to grow each day that I am back. I expected to enjoy my four years, but I never expected to have my faith challenged and championed as much as I did. The quality of people on campus drives you to become a stronger person, a stronger academic, and, ultimately, a stronger servant and witness for Christ. It is a privilege to be back and to be serving the campus once again.

I would not be the person I am without the folks on this campus and the surrounding community, and I welcome the chance to be that guidepost to the next generation of Waynesburg University students. Feel free to contact me and let me know how I can help and support you on this wonderful journey. Good luck!

About Me
When I first arrived on campus in 2005, I was a shy, introverted girl. I think anyone who knows me now wouldn’t believe it, but I was really nervous talking to new people! I spent the majority of my first semester becoming more comfortable, and by the time the spring semester started, I was ready to break out of my shell. Over the next three years, I loved getting to know new people, strengthening bonds with my friends, and working on my faith through classes and serving. When I graduated, I knew that Waynesburg had a piece of my heart, and I always hoped I would be back. Fast forward three years and a graduate degree and God led me back to this campus—really I feel like God led me home. I am so excited to be working with prospective students and sharing with them the uniquely wonderful mission of Waynesburg.

There are lots of new beginnings in my life these days, so much of my spare time is spent enjoying them all! I am a newlywed, so I am loving being a wife and partner to my cute husband. I love running and doing anything active or outdoors. I also equally love staying inside and curling up with a good book. My most recent endeavor has been in to the gardening world, and so far I haven’t been disappointed. I am very passionate about people, especially my family, and I strive to be a bright spot in their day. Everyone has a story; I love telling mine and I really love hearing yours!
