ROBERTS CHAPEL CAMPAIGN

The Roberts Chapel

The building of the Chapel is a significant moment in the life of our Christian institution. Set to be built on the north side of the quadrangle, the external footprint of the Chapel will be 76 feet wide by 133 feet long. It will be one of the more prominent buildings on campus, as the height of the building will reach 120 feet. With an exterior front consisting of four columns, 38 feet high and a classical facade of a traditional Northeastern Presbyterian church, the Chapel will stand as a symbol of God’s grace that has guided this University for over 160 years!

  • Consisting of three levels – the sanctuary, a balcony with seating & ground floor
  • Provisions included for an organ
  • A large choir area with pews, pulpit and lectern
  • Sanctuary seating capacity of 600
  • A total of 20,400 square feet

The Roberts Chapel groundbreaking ceremony was held Saturday, May 15.
