Athletic Training at Waynesburg University

As a student in the Waynesburg University Athletic Training Education Program, you will be prepared to enhance the quality of health care for the physically active through a faith-based, liberal arts education. Accredited by the CAATE, the Athletic Training program will provide the means, inspiration and values that will enable you to pursue meaningful, successful, responsible, productive and compassionate lives of service in the domains of injury prevention, emergency care, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and research.

Waynesburg University started the Athletic Training Educaiton Program in 1989 when it accpeted its first class. The first class graduated in 1992. Since then the program has had a rich tradition of graduating qualified allied health professionals who work in a variety of settings. In addition former Waynesburg students have continued their education in various professional disciplines.
