NURSING ADMINISTRATION OPTION The 36-credit Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Administration is designed for the professional nurse who seeks an administrative position such as unit manager or clinical director. Students take core courses in foundational topics relevant for today’s practicing professional, then complete concentrated study in administrative and leadership content. Included in this program of study is a role practicum which provides the student with the opportunity to precept with a practicing expert in an administrative role. Flexibility is built into the MSN Nursing Administration program should the student wish to complete an additional content emphasis in the areas of nursing education, informatics, geriatric nursing, or palliative care. |
