MESSAGE FROM THE PROVOST

Hello and welcome to Waynesburg University, a private, comprehensive Christian university offering more than 70 academic concentrations in doctoral, graduate and undergraduate programs. At Waynesburg, we are committed to a student-centered education where the interests and aspirations of each student are valued and encouraged. We are committed to the pursuit of God’s world through rigorous scholarship, academic excellence and creative expression. With an enrollment of approximately 2,500 in both undergraduate and graduate courses, our small class sizes and a dedicated faculty allow students and faculty to get to know each other.

Part of our mission at Waynesburg University is to “educate students to make connections between faith, learning and serving so they might faithfully transform their communities and the world.” We strive to inspire students to be servants and engaged citizens in their local communities and to take responsibility for involvement in the world in which they live. That being said, students have opportunities to study abroad and serve locally, nationally and internationally in places such as Arizona, Mississippi, Belize, Guatemala, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and South Africa.

While providing an outstanding education, Waynesburg University continues to keep its tuition well below the state and national averages for private, non-profit, four-year colleges and universities. In addition, most incoming freshmen receive some form of institutional funding, such as scholarships and grants.
