SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate’s Degree is required. Excellent written
and oral communication skills, along with outstanding interpersonal skills.
A strong desire to work closely with college students and low-income individuals
and families. Is capable of working independently. The candidate
must be committed both personally and professionally to the mission and
purpose of Christian higher education.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the continued development of the Family
Savings Account program administered through Community Action Southwest.
Identifying and recruiting low-income families and individuals who need
assistance in acquiring equity and generating savings. Develop family
support program (pre- and post-homeownership) for newly selected families
who will receive a Habitat for Humanity home through Greene County Habitat
for Humanity. Responsible for recruiting Waynesburg College students
to assist in providing direct service to families and individuals identified.
Participate in National Days of Service events identified by Pennsylvania
Campus Compact.
