Join Office of Institutional Advancement staff and Department of Business Administration faculty and students for a dedication of Hanna Hall classroom 204 in honor of Jorge (’68) and Maggie Villacampa. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.

6 - 9 p.m. | All-Alumni Celebration and Combined Class Reunion at The Denny House in Waynesburg
Join us at The Denny House, located at 145 West High Street in Waynesburg, for an evening with President and Mrs. Lee, Alumni Office staff, and fellow Waynesburg alumni. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided, and a cash bar will be available at this open house-style event. At approximately 8 p.m., all reunion classes (grad years which end in a 4 or a 9) will be recognized in the Carriage House, and President Lee will deliver remarks, including the latest University update. We will also celebrate Waynesburg’s 175th anniversary at this time. Tours of the historic Victorian house, once owned by the family of Josephine Denny (1915), a past recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award, will also be available throughout the evening. Reservations are required!

- 8:30 a.m. | 28th Annual 5K Run/Walk sponsored by the Center for Service Leadership
Registration will take place in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center (behind Miller Hall) beginning at 7:30 a.m. on race day. The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the top of Washington Street next to Roberts Chapel. All proceeds will benefit the Waynesburg University Student Mission Trip Fund. Please note: Online registration is only available until noon on Friday, October 18, after which time you will need to register in person on the morning of the event.
- 8:30 - 9:45 a.m. | Class of 1969 Reunion Breakfast in Benedum Dining Hall Glass Room
Members of the Class of 1969 and their guests are invited to celebrate their 55th reunion year at a special breakfast in Benedum Dining Hall's Glass Room. Reservations are required!

All alumni of the Baseball program are invited to play in an Alumni Game hosted by new head coach, Michael Impellittiere. Alumni should email michael.impellittiere@waynesburg.edu to RSVP or with any questions. (GPS Address for the Baseball/Softball complex: 4260 W. Roy Furman Highway, Waynesburg, PA, 15370; please note, the facility is approximately one-tenth of a mile past this address on the left-hand side of the road, traveling west. Join President Lee, Alumni Office staff, and fellow alumni and friends for a dedication of the bricks laid in Veterans Memorial Plaza (in front of Eberly Library and behind Stover Campus Center) during Summer 2024 to commemorate the University’s 175th anniversary. (Please note: this event was originally scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.)
- 10 - 11:30 a.m. | Stover Scholars Alumni Brunch in Eberly Library
All alumni of the Stover Scholars Program are invited to join fellow alumni for a complimentary brunch, hosted by Dr. Larry Stratton, in the Stover Conference Room, Eberly Library room 218. Reservations are requested. RSVP via email to Chris Schwartzmiller at cschwart@waynesburg.edu.
- 10:30 - Noon | Education Alumni Reunion in Alumni Hall (3rd Floor Miller Hall)
All Education alumni are invited to join fellow former classmates for a reunion reception hosted by Dr. Kelley Solomon and Education faculty members in Alumni Hall (3rd Floor Miller Hall). Throughout the reception, Dr. Solomon and her fellow faculty members will showcase the Education classrooms and facilitate interactive activities. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.

All Nursing alumni, both undergraduate and graduate, are invited to join fellow former classmates for a reunion reception hosted by Dr. Sherry Zak and her team in Stewart Science Hall room 210. Throughout the reception, Dr. Zak and other Nursing faculty will provide tours of the Nursing Simulation Lab, interactive activities such as finding your photo on the wall, and more. Complimentary refreshments will be provided. Register today to catch up with classmates, make new memories at this signature Nursing event, and help us usher in WU’s next chapter as we celebrate the 175th year of WU.
- 10:30 - Noon | Department of Biology, Environmental Science & Health Science and Department of Chemistry & Forensic Science Combined Reunion in Stewart 406
All Biology and Chemistry alumni are invited to join fellow former classmates for a reunion reception hosted by Dr. Chris Cink (Chair, Biology) and Dr. Evonne Baldauff (Chair, Chemistry) in Stewart 406. Throughout the reception, faculty in the Department of Chemistry and Forensic Science will showcase equipment in Stewart Hall and CRED, including GCMS, LCMS, 400MHz NMR, and microscopes for forensics applications. Faculty in the Department of Biology, Environmental Science & Health Science will be available to give tours of the labs and the Athletic Training clinic. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
- Newly added! 10:45 a.m. | Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the new Center for Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation
All alumni and members of the community are invited to join President Lee and Department of Criminal Justice and Social Sciences faculty for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the newly constructed Center for Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation, located next to the University’s existing Crime Scene Investigation Center. A reception with complimentary refreshments will follow.
- 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. | Class of 1974 50th Reunion Brunch with President and Mrs. Lee at the President’s House
Members of the Class of 1974 and their guests are invited to celebrate their 50th reunion with President and Mrs. Lee at the President’s House, located at 101 West College Street, directly west of Miller Hall. Reservations are required! (Please note: Members of the Class of 1974 who register for brunch will be able to pick up their special reunion name tag, complimentary football tickets, and free gift at brunch at the President’s House and will NOT need to check in at the field first.)
- 11 a.m. until one hour after the conclusion of the football game | Wiley Family Field Fest
Join us at the back gate of Wiley Stadium beginning two hours before the football game for our Wiley Family Field Fest! The pavilion and tent area will be open to alumni and friends from 11 a.m. until one hour after the end of the football game. Stop by for complimentary gifts, snacks, drinks, games, and more! You may pick up your complimentary football tickets and make a name tag at this location beginning at 11 a.m. Additionally, if you are celebrating a reunion year, meaning you graduated in a year ending in a 4 or a 9, you may pick up your special reunion ribbon at this location.
- 1 p.m. | Homecoming Football Game vs. Bethany College at Wiley Stadium
Your Yellow Jackets take on the Bison at John F. Wiley Stadium! The 2024 Homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime.
- Immediately following the conclusion of the football game (approx. 3:30 p.m.) | Wiley Stadium Commemorative Brick Dedication
Join President Lee, Alumni Office staff, and fellow alumni and friends for a dedication of the bricks laid at Wiley Stadium (inside the front gates and toward the field) during Summer 2024 to commemorate the University’s 175th anniversary.
- 5 p.m. through conclusion of Men's Soccer game | Women's Soccer Alumni Reunion at Wiley Stadium
Join Head Coach George DeAugustino and fellow Women's Soccer alumni at the pavilion and Alumni tent area at Wiley Stadium for a reception leading up to and during the Women's (6 p.m.) and Men's (8 p.m.) Soccer games vs. Franciscan University. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.

Campus Tours
Campus tours will be offered at the following times:
- Friday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 19, at 9 a.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m.
Please meet outside the front entrance of Miller Hall 10 minutes before the start of the tour if interested.
Shuttle Information
Friday Shuttle
On Friday, October 18, the shuttle will run between the Denny House and the following Waynesburg hotels: Super 8, Hampton Inn, Economy Inn, Microtel, and Quality Inn. The shuttle will depart Miller Hall parking lot at approximately 5:30 p.m., stop at each of the hotels listed, then drop off passengers at the Denny House. The shuttle then will make another trip to Miller Hall parking lot and to each hotel, then complete the drop off of passengers at the Denny House.
The shuttle will begin loading at 8:45 p.m. at the Denny House, drop passengers off at each hotel and at Miller lot, then return to the Denny House. The final shuttle will begin loading at approximately 9:15 p.m. at the Denny House, stop at Miller Hall parking lot, then drop passengers off at each hotel, concluding the Friday evening Shuttle.
Saturday Shuttle
On Saturday, October 19, the shuttle will run between campus (shuttle stop at the corner of Washington St. and College St., in front of Hanna Hall) and the front and back gates of Wiley Stadium from 11 a.m. until the conclusion of the postgame portion of Wiley Family Field Fest (approximately 5 p.m.).

Nest Campus Store Hours
The Nest, Waynesburg's campus store located at 84 Wayne St., will be open during the following times on Homecoming weekend:
- Friday, Oct. 18, from noon to 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Nest will also have a pop-up location at Wiley Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 19, starting at 11 a.m.

Museum Hours
The Paul. R Stewart Museum, located on the bottom floor of Miller Hall, will be open during the following hours for Homecoming weekend:
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday 10/17
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 10/18
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10/19
- Hours upon request Sunday 10/20

Hurricane Helene Relief
The Waynesburg University Office of Student Development is hosting a Hurricane Helene Relief Drive in partnership with Operation North State based in Winston-Salem, NC. You have the opportunity to provide aid the 100,000+ victims of the record-breaking damage from Hurricane Helene.
Boxes will be available at Wiley Stadium during the Homecoming football game to drop off relief items and monetary donations. Click here to view a list of suggested items to donate.
