Hanna Hall Renovation Project

Support Hanna Hall’s future today

At Waynesburg University, excellence in education goes hand-in-hand with a vision for the future.

In recent years, Waynesburg University's Entrepreneurial Leadership program has won multiple awards on both the national and international level, and in 2024, the University welcomed the institution’s largest-ever freshman class in the Department of Business Administration.

As our program continues to expand, the University is preparing for a renovation of Hanna Hall to increase accessibility and modernize our learning spaces. This includes merging two classrooms into one large, accessible space, as well as combining and upgrading our computer labs to create a state-of-the-art technology center.

In addition, with Hanna Hall as one of the two oldest buildings in the country in which men and women were educated equally, this renovation will include the Dr. Barbara Baugh ’60 Packard Extraordinary Women of Waynesburg University Exhibit, designed to honor our long history of providing post-secondary educational opportunities for women.

See the video below, created to illustrate that extraordinary history of Hanna Hall.

The Dr. Barbara Baugh ’60 Packard Extraordinary Women of Waynesburg University Exhibit

Dr. Packard graduated from Waynesburg in 1960 before going onto a decorated career at the National Institutes of Health, where she retired as Assistant Surgeon General of the United States with the rank of Rear Admiral in the United States Public Health Service (USPHS). She hopes her story and generosity to this initiative inspire future generations of Waynesburg students and alumnae to pursue their goals with the same perseverance she did.
