Bill Kauffman

Bill Kauffman is an acclaimed author, essayist, and cultural critic whose work explores American history, localism, community, and the arts. He is the author of eleven books, including Dispatches from the Muckdog Gazette, Ain’t My America, Look Homeward, America, and Poetry Night at the Ballpark. A columnist for The American Conservative and The Spectator World, he also wrote the screenplay for the 2013 feature film Copperhead and is a founding editor of Front Porch Republic. Kauffman lives in Batavia, New York.
