Guitarist Paul Carrol Binkley

Part of the Fine Arts Department Performing Arts Series

A music concert by internationally recognized guitarist Paul Carrol Binkley. Paul trained at Berklee College of Music, Boston; Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tennessee; and the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. His music has been heard everywhere from The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to the Lincoln Center in New York City; from CMT to NPR; from Holland to Singapore. Binkley has worked with Tennessee Repertory Theatre, Nashville Children's Theatre, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Community Spirit and Vanderbilt University as sound designer, music director and composer. Other credits include the Coterie Theatre (Kansas City, Mo.) and music from "Hearts of Space" and "All Things Considered" (NPR). Binkley has served as acoustic guitar specialist for a diverse group of artists, including country supergroup Alabama.
