Waynesburg University's premiere music ensemble, the Lamplighters Choir, will present their first concert of the fall semester Thursday, Nov. 7, at 5 p.m. in Roberts Chapel.
Made up of a diverse cross section of students, the Lamplighters Choir will perform music from the standard choir repertoire and sacred literature. The choir, under the direction of Assistant Professor Melanie Catana, rehearses twice a week throughout the year and performs throughout western Pennsylvania. In the spring semester, select members of the Choir travel to various locations around the country to lead church congregations in worship and to share their time and energy with communities in need.
