Student Art Exhibit

Hosted by the Waynesburg University Fine Arts Department

There will be an opening reception for this show on Monday, Nov. 22, from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. This reception is FREE and open to all.

This exhibition will feature original artwork from students enrolled in visual art classes during the Fall 2021 Semester. When students practice thinking creatively, it becomes natural. Positive emotions are conducive to creative thinking. Creativity and passion are conductive of imagination and spontaneity. Art tells stories and can assist with emotional processing. Through art, students will also develop skills in research, project design and implementation, and time management. These student-produced art pieces include a diverse range of influences, mediums, and expressions.

The gallery is open to students, faculty, and staff as well as class visits. Visitors to campus can schedule a timed visit or tour by appointment.

This exhibition will be on display through December 3, 2021.

Gallery Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and also by appointment.
