Symphonic Band Fall Concert

Event hosted by the Music Program and the Fine Arts Department

This year, the Symphonic Band is celebrating the work of American composers. Audiences will hear music by such greats as Leroy Anderson, Clifton Williams, Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Charles Ives, Alfred Reed and John Philip Sousa, along with contemporary composers like James Barnes, Eric Whitacre, Robert W. Smith, Frank Ticheli and Samuel R. Hazo. You'll hear music that helps you imagine you are at the circus, following 'the second line' in New Orleans, marching in a parade, or strolling around a beautiful lake in autumn. So, strike up the band!
