Join us for a Veterans' Breakfast featuring Key Note Speaker Dr. Michelle Steimer, MAJ USAR. Dr. Steimer, an assistant professor of counseling at Waynesburg University and a Major in the US Army Reserves, understands the trials that face veterans in the Greater Pittsburgh region. After separating from active duty, she relocated to the area and completed her Ph.D. at Waynesburg University while simultaneously serving in the Army Reserves. Her presentation will focus on the educational needs of veterans and veteran programs.
Waynesburg University's Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellow, Master Sergeant Jeffrey Ladisic, will host the event. Jeff is working to establish a Veteran Affairs Center at Waynesburg University, and will officially retire after 20 years of service in April of this year.
