Dr. Paul Sielski, professor of mathematics, led a math presentation last fall at West Greene Jr./Sr. High School that focused on practical math scenarios students could solve without the use of calculators. He recently received a thank-you letter from West Greene Jr./Sr. High School Principal Scott Sakai.

MSG Jeff Ladisic, director of the Office of Military Families and Veterans, has chosen Waynesburg University to be the host of his "Hiring Our Heroes" fellowship, sponsored by the United States Chamber of Commerce. He has been associated with the University through the ROTC Progam. His primary objective will be to create a framework for a new and sustainable program for veterans and their families at Waynesburg University.


Business, criminal justice and forensic accounting students recently attended a panel discussion, "Money Laundering 101," hosted by the Pittsburgh chapter of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists. The event was geared toward building interest in the growing field of money laundering, fraud, cyber and compliance.
