Waynesburg University recently reached a new affiliation agreement with International Studies Abroad (ISA) to provide Waynesburg students great opportunities and incentives to study abroad.
“Partnering with ISA is extremely beneficial for Waynesburg University’s study abroad program,” said Sarah Bell, academic communications coordinator. “This agreement increases potential study abroad destinations by more than double, providing more opportunities for students to gain global perspective and knowledge.”
The agreement will give Waynesburg students a $200 discount on ISA programs. Additionally, all credits earned by completion of coursework through an ISA program will be accepted by Waynesburg University.
Started in 1987, ISA offers undergraduate students in the United States and Canada the wide variety of study abroad programs at accredited schools and universities across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and The Pacific.
Programs offered by ISA align with the following majors and fields of study: agriculture, biology, business, chemistry, communication studies, computer science, education, engineering, environment studies, fine and performing arts, health sciences, hospitality and tourism, intensive language, mathematics, physics, political science and international relations, psychology and urban studies and planning.
To qualify for a study abroad program, Waynesburg University students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and receive a favorable recommendation from their academic adviser.
