Waynesburg University’s Fine Arts Department will host an art exhibition titled “Cold Connections” Monday, Sept. 10, through Friday, Oct. 5. An opening reception will be held Sept. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Benedum Fine Arts Gallery.
The exhibition will include art pieces that utilize cold connections, such as rivets, tabs, staples, prongs and stitches, among others, and will feature art by professionals and students.
Admission is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Art Program at Waynesburg University allows students to mold, paint and sketch works of their imagination while providing the tools to grasp a comprehensive knowledge of techniques and history. Students hone abilities through class discussion, demonstrations and exhibits.
