The Waynesburg University Department of Fine Arts will host musical group Camerata 33 Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center as part of its Performing Arts Series.
The professional chamber orchestra based in Pittsburgh will perform their new show "Poema y Canción," which includes a collection of poetry and songs from Latin America.
As part of their mission to promote, strengthen and diversify the presence of Latin-American chamber music in the United States, Camerata 33 will guide the audience through the listening experience of their performance in both English and Spanish languages.
The public is cordially invited to attend. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for guests 17 and under. Admission is free for Waynesburg University students and employees.
