Waynesburg to enter consortium agreement with Coastal Carolina University for marine biology students

Students will complete three years of coursework at Waynesburg and one year at Coastal Carolina

Waynesburg University and Coastal Carolina University have established a consortium agreement for fourth-year students enrolled in Waynesburg’s Marine Biology Program for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Coastal Carolina University will provide the required coursework for the fourth-year consortium students. Participating students will be co-advised by the director of marine science at Waynesburg University and the chair of the Marine Science Program at Coastal Carolina University.

Waynesburg will grant the degree of Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology to students who successfully complete the three-year marine biology curriculum at Waynesburg and the fourth year curriculum at Coastal Carolina University.

Among other qualifications, eligible students must have successfully completed the first three years of coursework at Waynesburg and must apply to Coastal Carolina University as a non-degree student and complete the necessary account information.
