Waynesburg University will soon offer undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in The Institute for Study Abroad, Butler University (IFSA-Butler), a study abroad program for undergraduate students in the United States.
IFSA-Butler provides semester, summer and year-long study abroad opportunities at more than 100 programs in Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czech Republic, Ecuador, England, Ireland, Israel, India, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Scotland, Spain and Wales.
“We are always eager to give our students additional opportunities to grow and learn,” said Sarah Bell, academic communications coordinator. “Expanding Waynesburg University’s Study Abroad Program is essential, as it allows our students to be exposed to more experiences than they might get in a traditional semester.”
IFSA-Butler was founded in 1988 on the campus of Butler University and is an independent, nonprofit organization committed to providing the best study abroad programs with integrated academic guidance and individualized support to ensure student success.
This study abroad opportunity will be open to all Waynesburg University undergraduate students who are in good academic and disciplinary standing.
The mission of IFSA-Butler is to create global learning environments designed to foster the development of critical perspectives, knowledge and skills essential for students to thrive in the future.
