Waynesburg University will welcome admitted students for an overnight campus visit on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024. Students will have the opportunity to become familiar with life at Waynesburg University.
During the overnight visit, the students will participate in coffee and games led by the admissions staff. From there, the students’ hosts will take their students and do activities with them, such as playing video games, playing basketball or watching movies to immerse themselves in the student culture.
“The students will get the opportunity to stay in dorms, meet fellow students, and make new friends!” admissions counselor Lily Portman said. “They also have a chance to find their roommate for the fall semester.”
The spring 2024 overnight visit is exclusively limited to admitted students. Depending on where the student's host resides, visiting students will stay in traditional or suite-style residential dorms.
Admissions counselor Ali Cammisa participated in the overnight stay as a high school senior and connected with Portman, who is now her coworker.
“Lily and I both participated in an overnight during our senior years. Funny enough, Lily's best friend was my host during my senior year, so I have known Lily for six years, and now we are coworkers!” Cammisa said. “This event is a benefit to make lifelong connections with others!”
