The Waynesburg University Music Program jazz ensemble will present its concert on Tuesday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center. The concert is free to attend, and the public is invited.
The jazz ensemble, directed by Jeremy Olisar, part-time instructor of music, offers students the opportunity to play a variety of jazz music from the 1930s to the present. Through the jazz ensemble, students broaden their musical styles and work on improvisation. The group features saxophones, trombones, trumpets, drums, bass guitar, and piano.
