Waynesburg University’s Department of Fine Arts will host a student art show in the Benedum Fine Arts Center. The opening reception is Monday, Nov. 27, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., and the show will stay open until Friday, Dec. 8.

Just like previous shows, this one will feature work done by students in various classes. These include Drawing, Jewelry and Metals, Digital Prototyping, Photography and graphic design courses. Due to this, there will be a range of 2D and 3D pieces in many mediums.
“Each semester we do a student show because we want to take the time to recognize students’ creativity and the work they have done,” Emily Wiedner, professor of fine arts, said.
Admission is free for all attendees and refreshments will be provided at the opening reception.
