Erin Leaver
Assistant Athletic Trainer
Biography
Erin Leaver is a Pittsburgh native who completed her undergraduate education in 2013 at Anderson University in central Indiana. Following her undergraduate studies, she returned to southwestern Pennsylvania to complete her post-graduate education at California University of Pennsylvania (Cal U) in 2014. While in graduate school, she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Washington and Jefferson College.
Upon her graduation from Cal U, she was hired as an assistant athletic trainer for Waynesburg University. In her time at Waynesburg, she has worked with thousands of student-athletes across every team. Currently, Leaver works most closely with the football and track and field teams.
Additionally, she has served as an adjunct professor within the Department of Biology, Environmental Science and Health Science, having taught 13 different courses. She is also an American Heart Association CPR and First Aid instructor, as well as a Stop the Bleed instructor.
