Biography
Robert Aberegg was born and raised in Connellsville. He served in active duty for the United States Air Force from 1986 to 1991, the Pennsylvania Army National Guard from 1991 to 1993 and was a critical incident manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections until retirement in 2016.
Aberegg has had training in Emergency Management Institute (FEMA) Incident Command System from ICS 100, Introduction to ICS through ICS 400, Advanced Incident Command System for Command and General Staff - Complex Incidents. He also specialized in emergency planning and hazard mitigation.
He travels frequently and often bases trips around his favorite authors and books.
