Senior Class Gift

Each year, graduating seniors and their families make a gift to the University through The Senior Class Gift program. This year’s Senior Class Gift Committee has chosen to raise funds to renovate the former Criminal Justice faculty lounge on the second floor of Buhl Hall, our humanities building, to make the space more suitable, usable, and inviting for students. This idea was presented mainly due to the large number of classes all students, regardless of major, are required to take in Buhl – perhaps more than any other building on campus. Any funds raised above and beyond those needed for the renovation will be earmarked for additional beautification of other Buhl Hall spaces.

Additionally, University Chaplain Joshua Sumpter has generously offered to match each dollar raised toward this year’s Senior Class Gift project, up to $2,000, from the Biblical and Ministry Studies restricted fund.

Gift Levels:

• Any gift: Give a gift of any size and receive a Waynesburg University Alumni laptop sticker.
• $50 or more: Give a gift of $50 or more and receive a Waynesburg University Alumni laptop sticker and WU luggage tag.
• $75 or more: Give a gift of $75 or more to receive the thank you gifts listed above and a Waynesburg University bound journal.

All Class of 2025 gifts received prior to June 30, 2025, will be listed in the 2024-2025 President's Report.
