CSR Today: The Growing Importance

Shifting strategies in light of COVID-19

About the Event

The Center for Corporate Social Responsibility will host a public seminar on the evolving importance of strategic and meaningful corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, specifically in light of the current global pandemic.

The seminar will include two sessions - a presentation and a panel discussion. The presentation will focus on:

  • what is corporate social responsibility (CSR)
  • the importance of building trust with stakeholders
  • creating effective CSR strategies
  • building communication plans
  • examples of successful CSR programs

The panel discussion will feature Dr. Jim Denova, vice president at the Benedum Foundation; Damian Ferek, president of The Stick Company and co-owner/operations manager of Stick Tattoo Company; and Josie Schultz, external communications manager at EQT Corporation.
