Waynesburg University's art faculty will present an exhibition of their work from Monday, Sept. 16, through Friday, Oct. 11. Featured pieces represent the strengths and interests of each of the faculty members. From jewelry by Sophia Park to watercolors by Lisa Rasmussen, the creative passion alive in the Department of Fine Arts demonstrates the potential skills students can learn in their various art classes. Clay pottery by Emily Wiedner and crafted objects by Andrew Heisey feature the tools and range of projects students are able to pursue within the art program.
An opening reception will be held Monday, Sept. 16, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Come to the Benedum Fine Arts Gallery to meet the faculty and see their artistic passion on display.
Gallery hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment.
