Guest Artist Exhibit: Janna Arnold

In Collaboration with Dig Devine

This Gallery show's opening reception will be on September 13, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., and is free and open to the public. the exhibition will be on display through October 8, 2021.

The collaboration between Janna Arnold, a ceramic artist based in McKees Rocks, PA, and a graduate of Carlow University, and Dig Devine celebrates the intersection between striking functional ceramics and repurposed industrial sculpture. Throughout our recent time of isolation, these two artists stuck together as quarantine “bubble-buddies” over morning coffees and conversion. Here, we see them uplifting each other’s visions in a similar way to how they have continued to support each other emotionally. Drawn towards forgotten objects and one-on-one intimacy, this installation portrays how place settings, mood lighting, and that broke-artist make-shift vibe can bring about ease and affection.

The gallery is open to students, faculty, and staff as well as class visits. Visitors to campus can schedule a timed visit or tour by appointment.

Gallery Hours: M-F 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. and also by appointment.
