Symphonic Band Mid-Winter Concert

Event hosted by the Music Program and the Fine Arts Department

The Waynesburg University Symphonic Band will perform music from our 12th Annual Conducting Symposium for the Waynesburg community. The symposium is a professional development event for conductors from Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Mr. Samuel Hazo, Jr., a composer, conductor, and lecturer from Pittsburgh, PA, served as the guest lecturer. Mr. Hazo is renowned in the wind band world. These selections feature both standard and newly composed wind band pieces of varying difficulty, but all pieces in this repertoire are bound to delight.
