TUBACHRISTMAS

Hosted by the Music Program

Waynesburg University's Music Program will present TUBACHRISTMAS Friday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center. This performance is free and open to the public.

TUBACHRISTMAS is a staple event on the Waynesburg campus. Each year, dozens of tuba, euphonium and baritone players from Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio gather to perform Christmas music. Dr. Harvey G. Phillips created TUBACHRISTMAS in 1974 to honor his mentor/teacher, the late great tubist William J. Bell who was born on Christmas Day in 1902. Anyone interested in performing tuba, euphonium or baritone on this concert please contact Eric Brewer.
