The Waynesburg University Alumni Office will launch a new online events and webinar platform as part of a new partnership with the Alumni Learning Consortium (ALC). ALC provides colleges and universities free access to webinars that provide their partner educational institutions unique opportunities for learning and connecting virtually.
Following the platform’s official launch on August 17, Waynesburg alumni will be able to stream ALC exclusive online events from the comfort of their own homes or workspaces. Alumni will also be able to watch replays of recorded webinars after the live online events are over.
The first virtual event available for alumni is entitled, “The Gift of Adversity: Turning Adversity into Opportunity,” featuring Marcus Aurelius Anderson. Anderson is a bestselling author; TEDx Speaker and International Keynote Speaker; and Mindset Coach to Companies, Leaders and Entrepreneurs. Marcus is also the host of the #1 New and Noteworthy Conscious Millionaire “Epic Achiever” Podcast. The webinar will stream August 26 at noon (EDT). The new partnership with ALC will also allow for streaming of original content created by the Alumni Office and the University at large. More details and a schedule of Waynesburg’s online events will be made available soon.
