May 17, 2023

Waynesburg University’s Department of Business Administration hosted an award ceremony Monday, April 17, to recognize senior honors students and new inductees to Sigma Beta Delta.

We are proud of the academic accomplishments of these students.”

Dr. Jennifer Roy

Sigma Beta Delta is an international honor society for students in business, management and administration. Students inducted into Sigma Beta Delta must have junior-credit standing or higher and the top one or two GPA’s in their major. There are 10 majors within Waynesburg’s Chapter.

“Being invited to Sigma Beta Delta is the highest national recognition a business student, with a Sigma Chapter, can receive,” said Dr. Jennifer Roy, assistant professor of business administration. “Membership comes with networking opportunities, career coaches, academic scholarship opportunities and, of course, a fancy cord to wear at graduation.”
