Waynesburg University’s Department of Business Administration hosted an award ceremony Monday, April 17, to recognize senior honors students and new inductees to Sigma Beta Delta.

Sigma Beta Delta is an international honor society for students in business, management and administration. Students inducted into Sigma Beta Delta must have junior-credit standing or higher and the top one or two GPA’s in their major. There are 10 majors within Waynesburg’s Chapter.
“Being invited to Sigma Beta Delta is the highest national recognition a business student, with a Sigma Chapter, can receive,” said Dr. Jennifer Roy, assistant professor of business administration. “Membership comes with networking opportunities, career coaches, academic scholarship opportunities and, of course, a fancy cord to wear at graduation.”
The following students were inducted into Sigma Beta Delta:
- Zachary Berrott, junior sports media information/athletic communication major from Plum, Pennsylvania.
- Joshua Cavallo, junior finance major from Houston, Pennsylvania.
- Cory Cox, junior accounting major from Pomeroy, Ohio.
- Devin Delo, junior business management major from Mount Union, Pennsylvania.
- Seth Eaton, junior sports management major from Augusta, West Virginia.
- Josiah Gordon, junior forensic accounting major from Strongsville, Ohio.
- Adam Huckestein, junior marketing major from Saxonburg, Pennsylvania.
- Haley Johnson, junior forensic accounting major from Somerset, Pennsylvania.
- Brooklyn Laymon, junior accounting major from Lynchburg, Ohio.
- Jennifer Long, junior forensic accounting major from Fate, Texas.
- Seth Robertson, junior accounting major from Hookstown, Pennsylvania.
- Megan Wilson, junior marketing major from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

- Drew Miller, senior sports management major from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
- Samantha Pete, senior forensic accounting major from Cochranton, Pennsylvania.
- Jaclyn Rider, senior accounting major from Smithfield, Pennsylvania.
- Kennedy Shuck, senior forensic accounting major from Marietta, Ohio.
