The Waynesburg University Fine Arts Department will host a Latin-American Chamber Music Concert featuring the musical group Camerata 33 Thursday, Sept. 23, as part of its Performing Art Series. The public is cordially invited to attend the event at 7:30 p.m. in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center.
The concert, “Tangueando Around the World,” will feature Latin-American Chamber Music Artists from the Camerata 33, a professional chamber orchestra from Pittsburgh. Camerata 33’s mission is to help promote, strengthen and diversify the presence of Latin-American chamber music in the United States and abroad.
Their performance will demonstrate this mission through the inclusion of interactions in both English and Spanish languages as well as tango music featuring strings, percussion and dancers.
Tickets cost $15 for adults and $8 for students. Admission for Waynesburg University students and employees is free with ID at the door. To purchase/reserve tickets, visit waynesburg.ticketleap.com/tangos.
