In March, Waynesburg University will launch its first-ever, week-long crowdfunding campaign, "Orange Week."
"Orange Week" will be a special fundraising opportunity that will directly impact the everyday lives of our Waynesburg students. The support given during this campaign will enhance a number of programs offered by Waynesburg University, allowing us to continue to offer an exceptional education and experience to our students.
What is Orange Week?
Orange Week is a new crowdfunding event with the goal of helping academic departments and athletic teams raise funds for specific projects, educational trips, or program needs.
When is Orange Week?
Orange Week will take place Friday, March 11, through Friday, March 18, 2022.
Who is eligible to participate in Orange Week?
All departments or teams who actively participated in our Day of Giving in November 2021 are eligible to participate in Orange Week.
Who receives the money raised during Orange Week?
All funds raised by each department or team during Orange Week will be deposited directly into their respective departmental accounts and will be used for the purpose(s) outlined on their campaign page. Any funds raised beyond a department or team’s stated goal will remain with that program to further benefit its students or student-athletes.

How can I help promote Orange Week?
Post on your personal social media accounts letting your friends and followers know where you donated. Be sure to use the hashtag #WUOrangeWeek to help us spread the word! You can even take a photo with one of our printable signs (download below) and post it to show your support.
