Waynesburg University’s Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program has been ranked No. 2 on PracticalNursing.org’s list of 2026 Best Pennsylvania LPN to RN/BSN Programs. The University was recognized for the program’s flexibility, quality clinical preparation and commitment to helping working nurses advance their careers.
PracticalNursing.org highlighted Waynesburg’s hybrid program format, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation, early clinical experiences and strong focus on practical skills and critical thinking in diverse healthcare settings. The ranking also noted the program’s design for practicing LPNs seeking further education while balancing professional and personal responsibilities.

Waynesburg University’s LPN to BSN Program combines online coursework with in-person clinical experiences, allowing students to build on their previous nursing education while preparing for expanded professional opportunities.
