Alexia Schmader

Alexia Schmader is a 2024 graduate of West Liberty University, where she earned her dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Music with a minor in World Music. During her time at West Liberty, she was honored to serve as the Drum Major of the Marching Hilltoppers, worked as the Director of Programming for the Student Government Association, played Double Tenors in the Steel Band, worked for West Liberty University’s Student Ambassador Team and student taught in a 4th/5th Grade ELA classroom. 

After Graduating, Schmader worked at Walt Disney World for eight months as an EPCOT Festival's Cast Member for the Disney College Program, received her “Mouseters” in Leadership and sang in the Candlelight Processional with the 2024 Cast Choir. After the completion of her program, Schmader taught the remainder of the year in a Kindergarten Special Education classroom.

Schmader discovered Waynesburg and immediately fell in love with the campus and everyone she met during her visit. She can’t wait to join the Waynesburg team and help every student fall in love with this campus just like she did.
