Waynesburg University has named Annabelle Bagley a 2024 recipient of the Founders Scholarship.
She is the daughter of Elisha and Alex Strahan and Ben Bagley of Converse, Louisiana.
At Converse High School, Bagley participates in several student organizations and extracurriculars. She serves as the student council president, vice president of her school’s Educators Rising program and editor-in-chief of the yearbook.
She has also been recognized for her scholarship and career preparedness, placing third in the National Educators Rising Job Interview competition and second in the Louisiana State High School Rally in Journalism.
In addition to her academic achievements, Bagley began a youth bible study with her friends and has been on international mission trips to Kenya and Mexico.
“I am so grateful that Waynesburg University awarded me the Founders Scholarship, which allows me to attend the University that I fell in love with without the burden of tuition,” Bagley said. “I cannot wait to grow in Christ, make friendships that last a lifetime and prepare for my future here.”
In the fall, she will pursue a bachelor's degree in communication.
