Lahew is a senior at Waynesburg Central Junior Senior High School, where she is cheer captain, president of the Drama Club and Student Council, vice president of the Alpha Beta Club and treasurer of the Senior Class. She is also a member of National Honor Society, Envirothon, Leo Club, Prom Committee, Youth Alive, Team Hope Squad, ASL Club, Spanish Club and Yearbook Club.

Throughout high school, she has maintained a 4.0 GPA while taking advanced placement courses.

Locally, Lahew is Waynesburg’s reigning 2024 Miss Rain Day and 2024 Homecoming Queen. She has also been recognized as Lions Girl of the Month and Athlete of the Month.

When not managing her academics or Miss Rain Day obligations, Lahew can be found at the In Motion Dance studio. She has been an avid dancer since the age of two and began dancing competitively in 4th grade. She has won many awards, scholarships and placements through her dance competitions.

Along with dancing, Lahew has loved to perform since she was 8-years-old. Over the years, she has been in many musicals and plays through Waynesburg University, local churches and her high school.

Lahew attends various youth groups, participates in church activities and often spends time with friends and family. She also channels her creative outlet by working on her Bible journaling.

At Waynesburg, she intends to major in elementary education and complete a minor in business.
