"I hope to continue my education at Waynesburg University because of their tight-knit community that demonstrates authenticity to everyone," Stewart said. "When interacting with faculty and staff members, I sense their overwhelming desire to see their students grow and succeed in their respective majors."

Stewart attends Hempfield High School, where she has been involved in the National Honor Society, the Future Business Leaders of America and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Outside of school, Stewart enjoys giving back to her local community by serving through Alpacas with an Agenda 4-H Club, where she is the vice president. She also volunteers at her church, serving as a LifeGroup leader.

In the fall, Stewart will enroll in Waynesburg University as a chemistry major.

"I aspire to find new ways to help people, as impacting even one life would motivate me to continue seeking more efficient ways to heal the masses. While improving the physical wellness of others is vital, the overarching goal is ultimately to advance the kingdom of God,” Stewart said.
