Jameson served as the president of the History Club during the Fall 2025 semester and will transition to vice president for Spring 2026. She is the social media manager and secretary for Sting Swing and is a member of the Commuter Club and the Japanese Culture & Anime Club (JCAC).

A longtime resident of Waynesburg, Jameson looks forward to the opportunity to immerse herself in an urban environment while obtaining invaluable job experience.

“I liked ADST for multiple reasons,” said Jameson. “They have a wide collection of history projects, multiple ways to access them, and they are actively involved with the community through events and also schools in a combination of different ways.”

Jameson has discussed with her supervisors the possibility of working in an archive on a foreign policy project and contributing to ADST's Foreign Affairs Oral History program during her time in the program.

While she credits her classes for helping her hone her writing, project and analysis skills, Jameson said her work in the Eberly Library and the Paul R. Stewart Museum on Waynesburg's campus is what has best prepared her for her internship.

“I've learned skills hands-on by working at these places on campus that just couldn't be taught in a classroom,” said Jameson.

Jameson has been drawn to TWC's program since her freshman year and is excited to spend her Spring semester in the nation's capital.

“My goals for this internship are to gain experience in larger establishments, work on bigger projects, gain skills and make lifelong connections with others in my field,” said Jameson.

Waynesburg University has partnered with TWC since 2018, providing conference, internship and networking opportunities to students in various fields. For more information on how to get involved, contact Sarah Bell at sbell@waynesburg.edu.
